I mean, the character is canonically transgender, and those look identical to early-hrt breast growth, so yeah. Small breasts are still breasts.

Except there's plenty of art of guys like that that are still intended to be viewed as male. Bridget is no exception; plenty of art of her as male was made even after she was revealed to be transgender (and she never physically transitioned as far as I know). I don't know why they're sometimes drawn to look like breasts while the character is meant to be male at the same time, but that's just how it is. Unless the artist said Bridget in this image has physically transitioned, we don't have any reason to assume that is the case. There just isn't enough evidence to warrant changing the tags.

I believe it was determined that artist intent doesn't matter when tagging this character on this site. It goes by a "looks not lore" basis. Though for what it is worth, I believe this artist has used she/her in the past for this character.
To me this character has clearly female secondary sexual characteristics and looks like a girl with a dick, not a guy. I know there's a lot of difficulty tagging a character such as this, who was previously a femboy and then developed into a trans woman, but I believe fem tags are appropriate for any drawing of bridget with breasts.

Correct, the artist's intent would not be enough. My point was that it didn't seem to meet even that standard and it looks no different than any other "trap" character with a puffy chest.

Would you say the same for Otori Tan, who's chest often looks just as developed? Should we be switching those to genderswap (mtf) too, even knowing that puffy chests is part of the fetish? Can you reliably tell the difference between actual breasts and puffy chests? If so, would trap fans agree with your categorization?

That character isn't canonically a woman like bridget -But honestly, yes, if this site were applying the looks not lore thing fully. Men don't usually look like women with fully developed breasts.
As for puffy chest, I think context and the gender of the character matters under the current rules.

Canonically, Bridget is still physically male last I checked. And Bridget has been drawn with a puffy chest many, many times with that assumption in mind. The trap fetish intentionally blurs these lines by getting as close to a feminine appearance as possible without actually changing the character's sex.

That's why most posts like this wouldn't be tagged 1girl. If the puffy chest phenomenon didn't exist, then you could make a stronger case for Bridget having breasts in this image. But I doubt most people into femboys will see the difference between this and puffy chest. If they're that close in appearance, than we can't reasonably conclude that Bridget is physically female (or a futanari) in this image.

You argued that she looked like she was in the early stages of hormone replacement therapy, meaning she would still be physically male. If all she's developed is what looks identical to a puffy chest on your average trap post, then I'd say she hadn't physically transitioned enough for it to count yet. If the evidence is weak, then we should err towards the default, which is to tag her as 1boy.
