Y'know, I'm aware it's probably projection, but I can't help but interpret the picture as the elf kinda regretting the smaller, more-approachable dryad, and seeing the big breasted one as too distant to engage. Since in this world, breasts are synonymous with magical power, I assume that big boobs intimidate people.
Also I imagine the elf as male, but I don't think the artist ever fully draws male in that serie, only female get eyes.
