I don't think this is ai-assisted. The hand-drawn details are super obvious, plus it has line art: https://x.com/ABXYparuko_ch/status/2029774856808714332?s=20 (I honestly couldn't quite tell where 'colored over in the hands' was supposed to be)

The noisy jpeg artifacts of the AI image underneath are visible all throughout the image. The artist didn't fully cover everything up.
Also, line art/sketches don't prove legitimacy. AI prompters fake WIPs all the time by tracing over an image they generated to pass it off as the "sketch". This is definitely AI-assisted (which isn't against the upload rules or anything)

Thanks for the explanation! I used to think that those blurred areas were just a lazy shortcut by the artist to avoid rendering detail and shading. But after seeing the one asset the ear, I changed my mind—it definitely looks suspicious.

Glad I could help! Also, congrats on the promotion to contributor!
I wasn't able to find any information on who made this. A comment on the Reddit post claims this link is the source, but the tweet was seemingly deleted. I searched the URL (both twitter.com and x.com) on the Wayback Machine, and I also searched the image on Ascii2D and SauceNAO, but found no results.

No, a joke would be like: There are two eggs on a plate. The first goes "phew, it's hot here." The second shouts "OH MY GOD, A TALKING EGG!"
Blue Archive.
I quoted the wronge message. I meant to ask the other guy if he meant that Sword Art Online as a joke, because obviously she looks like Asuna from BA and not that.

Because everyone plays Blue Archive, right? It's a basic activity all humans engage with.
Seriously, it was on you to specify which franchise you were talking about on you first comment. And instead of clarifying, you doubted the question validity. Not helpful.
These are the aforementioned different cuts posted on X. I merged the images this way because they don't align neatly side by side.
Translated commentary: “The slit-eyed, pink-haired ojou-sama senpai who grew up in a high-status and immaculate family of renown, and for that reason came to develop the somewhat unusual fetish of getting aroused by having men smell her body odor 🤤” Gotta love hentai logic.
Before anyone is tempted to tag this as 4girls again, please note that Marina's chest is obviously pectorals, without any signs of feminine breasts. post #7750089 is a very good example of the difference between a male chest and a female one, even if both are flat.
