To be fair, Purple Sister V is probably somewhere in that ballpark in terms of power
I mean, she effectively is the only CPU left in the conquest ending. (Been a while but I think you gotta kill all CPU candidates and CPUs to charge the magmcguffin sword.) Thus leaving only one goddess for people to give their share power to. Namely her. So she theoretically has the power potential that the CPU version of Rei held. If she managed to properly rebuild things and gain the people's confidence and trust.
I haven't had interacted with NEXT forms yet. (Nep forsaken Steam backlog curse.) So I can't tell if NEXT forms surpass that power or not.
Despite the title, I believe MGWT is "magical girl" in name only. The term was never used in-game outside of the title (while "witch" was used everywhere) and they don't assume alternate identity or anything. They're closer to X-Men-like mutants, if anything.
Been really enjoying this series. I like the mix of real historical facts, the military jokes that actually sound like from people that are around military, and the overall story. Hope things are going good for you. Also, out of curiosity, do you plan to still be adding more to this series?
Frankly, Amagi-chan very much falls into the catagory of properly unnerving to newbies. Like something about a little girl grilling you hits harder. Glad these are still around!

Well, yes. But lately the VA has decided to hamstring me. I returned to my hometown to finish out my university, and the VA decided to not take care of the bill after the fact.
Only after 270 days (you read that correctly) has the VA decided to fix things. At least, that's the indication they've given me. It's a great deal more involved than that, but they're entirely at fault here.
This is why I haven't been updating the comic as much recently. But I'm still working on it.

Out of curiosity, what branch were you in? I am just about finishing my undergrad and am an ROTC Cadet. I plan to enroll in Medical School this Fall and become a Doc for the Army.

There's accusations that it's AI, which is plausible due to the account dabbling in AI, but they've also seemingly posted real outdoors/bird videos too
