This image is third-party edit that has been detexted and upscaled among other things. Its origin is most likely from the sample image that can be found on this site: https://www.4gamer.net/games/337/G033789/20160610002/SS/010.jpg
They removed the sample watermark and upscaled the image, which is why the details don't seem very sharp for an image that isn't a scan.
If you look for the "S" of "SAMPLE", on the tail of the left girl, you will see the traces of the "S". If you look for the "A" you will see that some lines of the hair are gone or just wrong. If you look for the "P" you will see that part of the cleavage line is gone or extremely faded which shouldn't be the case.

I'm pretty sure I can find a scan of this image so I'll be looking for one to upload before flagging this one.

So, Scarlet and Rapunzel for the 4th anniversary, and Hansel & Gretel as the first dual Nikke unit for the New Yearโ€™s event?

It's been leaked that Scarlet and Marian will be the anniversary units and Rapunzel will be the free SSR. I hope not, but apparently, the leaker has been right in the past.

"The aftermath changed Rudolf into a solemn and reserved leader"
What, from a single punch? Or, if it was the aftermath that affected her so much, as the sentence actually means, then we really should see more of the aftermath.

"15 years in prison"
For a single punch?! Seems way over the top.

"A 500.000 yen fine"
Well that hardly seems worth mentioning in comparison. It only about 1,3 times the average monthly wage in Japan.

15 years in prison (with forced labor) plus a 500,000 yen fine are exactly the maximum allowable punishment for assault resulting in injury in Japan.

But yeah, it's completely excessive considering even murder (single death with no aggravating circumstances) usually only result in imprisonment for 10~20 years in Japan if there are extenuating circumstances (there almost always are). Like say a crime of passion for someone being NTR'd.

Feels like the author just looked up the maximum allowable punishment without looking up the appropriate context.

I actually think that's potentially reasonable, as "resulting in injury" sounds like it could encompass everything from a booboo to losing all your limbs.
Actually, no, on second thought, the maximum really should be higher for such cases.

Yeah, that would be the "appropriate context". Something like permanent disability or disfigurement, or something egregious and beyond the pale. And even then going for the absolute maximum would be rare. Or at least I couldn't find any examples where someone got hit with the max sentence.

Considering that, I'd bet anyway, something like that's never happened to Rudolf before, it'd really stick with her.
Especially since it escalated right to something physical, instead of the Trainer merely lightly reprimanding her for being too jokey and asking her to focus a bit more.
I buy it shaking her up quite a bit and leaving her very hesitant to joke around, since she's flashing back to that moment constantly and not wanting that to happen again.
Just my two cents on the matter.
