Bisected
social media composition
Image separation artifacts, such as lines, introduced by the artist when stitching multiple images together to mimic how they appear in the thumbnails of gallery posts online. Most often appears as straight lines or a sparkle-like shape quadrisecting an image from its center.
If a thumbnail collage of related images exists, parent them to the social media composition post, but do not use the latter tag on the former, and vice versa. Do not use this tag on an image without visible separation artifacts, even if it is the stitched version of a thumbnail collage.
Not to be confused with fake screenshots of social networks.
