school uniform

A uniform commonly worn by students. Designs vary across countries, but in Japan, the two most common designs are the serafuku for girls and the gakuran for boys.

Common accessories for Japanese schoolgirls include a sweater, cardigan, sweater vest, thighhighs, and kneehighs. A common footwear for both genders while in school is the uwabaki.
