lighthouse (ace combat)

A space elevator featured in Ace Combat 7. Officially known as the International Space Elevator, it was built as a peacekeeping effort on the Usean continent to harness solar energy from the atmosphere to power the globe.

Its name is the namesake of the main conflict of the game; the Lighthouse War, as the Kingdom of Erusea declared war on Osea over the structure, believing that its real intention was to enforce Osean hegemony on the continent.

In Ace Combat 8, the entire space elevator collapses with the conflict between Usea and Sotoa, bridging the gap later in Ace Combat 3
