king joe
A giant mecha from the Ultra Series first appearing as alien robot in Ultraseven with numerous appearances in later shows, most notably in Ultraman Z.
It is capable of separating its body into four parts—essentially the head and arms, chest, abdomen, and lower body—with each section able to operate as an independent spacecraft.
Named after Kinjou Tetsuo, one of the first writers of Ultraman.
King Joe also appears in the Kadokawa version of Ultra Kaijuu Gijinka Keikaku. Regular King Joe appears as Clara Thorne, voiced by Mimori Suzuko and designed by Tani Yuuji, with King Joe II also appearing, designed by Mamecchi.
