extra arms illusion
A perspective illusion where a character is viewed straight-on while other characters stand behind them with their arms outstretched to appear as a single person with extra arms. Commonly use mudra gestures to imitate multiple armed bodhisattva.
Usually the obscured characters will have recognizable arms.
