スクール水着の分類

スクール水着の種類と呼称が世間ではあまりに一定していないので、スク水分類学における自分なりの分類と呼称を解りやすくまとめてみました。僕が編集させてもらった、ピクシブ百科事典の「スク水」のタグの項でも採用している分類法です。世間の認識とは一部にずれがあるかもしれませんが、全てのスク水を分類するために熟考を重ねた結果です。生物学の分類でも完全な正解は無いので仕方がありません（笑）。それぞれの水着の特徴については、後日詳細解説をしたいと思います。…スクール水着の神様ミズキ様（pixiv #15010776 »）は、あまりお堅いのもアレなので解説用にデザインしたキャラです。…しかし、実はこれにも当てはまらないイレギュラー中の超イレギュラーも実は存在します（笑）。それはまた機会を見て「その他」として発表しようと思います（笑）。

Swimsuit Types (Top Row, Left to Right)

• 旧々型 (Kyu-kyu-gata) – Ultra-Old Style
• Features a very classic, skirt-like two-piece illusion design common in the mid-20th century.
• 旧型 (Kyu-gata) – Old Style
• The iconic traditional one-piece school swimsuit, typically featuring a distinct seam line across the midsection.
• 新型 (Shin-gata) – New Style
• A modernized standard one-piece with integrated seamless construction and thicker shoulder straps for better movement.

Swimsuit Types (Bottom Row, Left to Right)

• 競泳型 (Kyoei-gata) – Racing Style
• A high-cut, streamlined one-piece designed specifically to reduce water resistance during competitive swimming lessons.
• ユニタード型 (Unitard-gata) – Unitard Style
• A one-piece swimsuit that extends down into short-style bottoms, offering more skin coverage and sun protection.
• セパレート型 (Separeto-gata) – Separate Style
• A two-piece design consisting of a separate top tank and swim shorts, making it much easier to put on and take off.
• スクール競泳水着 (Sukuru Kyoei Mizugi) – School Racing Swimsuit
• A high-performance racerback style used by competitive school swim teams, featuring specialized ergonomic seams on the back.
