@medamayaki Yep, I saw that too late and for that I apologize. That said, I do address it with my opinion with my second comment.
In my opinion the pixiv version it should be the parent, no matter how small or insignificant the change is, it's the newest version of the post with a larger file size, but it's fine
File size wouldn't be relevant to determining the parent post here. Revisions should usually be the parent, but being posted later doesn't necessarily make it a revision, you have to look at the image itself. Pixiv looks the same as Patreon except there are some parts that have colour faded on certain parts, reducing the lines.
No more of this "edit war six times before someone finally talks" thing going on please. This should've been brought up much earlier in reverting each other, and if the two of you still can't agree, then involve a third-party (i.e. forum).

So what makes a post a revision? The wiki itself says the change can be minor. I'm not saying it's automatically considered a revision just for being the most recent version, but I also don't think that given the type of change between each image it's simply a variant.
It's definitely not a variant by any measure but it's kind of hard to tell which one the artist intended for here without being able to see more than what's out publicly so I'm inclined to say the parent for now should just remain as is, as in, the one that got uploaded first.
