When this first started, there was at least some tension, but now, it's pointless. Everything is such a foregone conclusion that it's just boring. If the mimics took casualties and were forced to retreat a few times, great. Or perhaps all but one get wiped out, then a version of the 1982 movie The Thing could play out. It would be more dynamic and engaging storytelling. As it is now, it's a waste. This commander lady especially is wasted.

Would have been interesting if the top ranking soldiers were actually competent enough to recognize mimics and stop them at the gate. May have even been funny if their reaction to seeing the entire party wiped out was just complete and utter annoyance that they would have to clean up this mess now.

But I suppose this was never about compelling storytelling, just pure fetishization.

On one hand the Euphoria t-shirt seems like quite a bold fashion statement. But on the other hand I doubt many people are familiar with that game. So it's a red flag aimed at nerds? But that would only ward off the less degenerate ones.
Maybe the joke is that she's a fake weeb. Or maybe I'm overthinking this.

When played in reverse, both the scene where Speaki screams and cries in the Korean version of *Tickcal* and the scene where Paragus laughs uproariously in the Japanese version of *Dragon Ball Z: Broly โ€“ The Legendary Super Saiyan* sound to Japanese ears as if the characters are saying "ฤ€u."
