wada ryuji

Real life Japanese former jockey most famous for being T.M. Opera O's jockey. Other notable horses Wada rode during his career include Wonder Acute, Mikki Rocket, and Deep Bond.

Among the horseracing and Umamusume fans, Wada is more known for being a subject of a one-sided feud with T.M. Opera O's rival Meisho Doto: In spite of his gentle demeanour in his retirement years, Doto exhibit strong dislike towards Wada, with him often tried to bite or headbutt him. One theory suggests that Doto mistakenly believed that Wada is "T.M. Opera O", rather than the actual horse whose Doto is on friendly terms.
