twitter's edit image button
On December 25, 2025, X/Twitter rolled out a new feature that allowed for the direct AI editing of images in Tweets/posts, without the need of the author's consent. This caused another exodus of artists from the website and others posting new art as still animation videos, which can't be edited with the new feature.
