Images that have been altered by the uploader to comply with the Danbooru Terms of Service and Upload Rules. This most often means censoring or removing photographs of real life individuals who are under the age of 18. As per topic #37932, these are not considered third-party edits.

Edit guidelines
  • Keep the edit simple and unobtrusive by choosing one solid color; Like white, black, or a color that matches the image's background.
  • To prevent compression artifacts, save your edited image as a PNG, even when the source file was in a lossy format such as JPEG.
  • Remember to add the md5 mismatch tag, as well as lossy-lossless if the original file was in a lossy format.
