A PlayStation 2 RPG and part of the Persona series of the Megami Tensei franchise, released July 10, 2008 in Japan, December 9, 2008 in North America and March 13, 2009 in Europe.

The game follows a high school junior (later given the name Narukami Yu in the anime adaptation) who, due to his parents' work overseas, moves from the city to the rural town of Inaba to live for a year with his uncle and local policeman Doujima Ryoutarou and his six-year-old daughter Nanako. Received a enhanced port on the PlayStation Vita, and a remastered version later for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S and Nintendo Switch, entitled Persona 4 the Golden. It is set in the same universe as its predecessor, Persona 3. A fighting game, Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena, also acts as a direct sequel to the game.

A remake titled Persona 4 Revival will release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on Feburary 18, 2027 and on Nintendo Switch 2 on May 20 later that year.
