one wish willow

One Wish Willow, also known as the wishing willow, is a fictional cursed novelty item originating from the horror film ''Obsession''.

description

A short, thin wooden willow twig sold inside a triangular printed cardboard box. To activate it, the user makes a wish, snaps the stick in two, and the wish will be granted literally, often with terrible, unforeseen consequences.

rules

• One wish per person for a lifetime. Additional willows will not function for someone who has already made a wish; the stick cannot be broken.
• Wishes are interpreted in the strictest literal sense. No do‑overs, cancellations or revisions after the twig is snapped.
• Cannot grant wishes for time travel, resurrection, immortality, or create additional One Wish Willow items.
• The curse tied to a wish ends upon the death of the original wisher.
