may lee

May Lee Jinju, usually referred to simply as May Lee, is an original playable character in The King of Fighters. Debuting in KOF 2001 as part of the expanded Team Korea, she is a practitioner of taekwondo and a spirited young protégé of Kim Kaphwan. Her defining gimmick is switching between two different styles: Normal Mode, where she fights as a more conventional taekwondoka with a wide variety of kicks, and Hero Mode, where she becomes a full-on tokusatsu hero in the vein of Kamen Rider with more exaggerated attacks. Hero Mode May Lee can be identified by the large Rider-like scarf on her neck and her under-elbow gloves.
