The Malboro, also known as Molbol, is a recurring monster in the Final Fantasy series. Known for its Bad Breath attack which inflicts a plethora of negative status effects.
The name Malboro comes from the Latin "mal boros", meaning "bad breath". It is also a parody name of the cigarette brand Marlboro, to which smoking is also associated with bad breath.
