luger p08

A German semi-automatic handgun that saw use in both World War I and World War II. Other than being known by its iconic appearance, the P08 uses a complex toggle-lock mechanism. It was the very first handgun chambered in popular 9×19mm Parabellum round.

The Luger P08 can also be fitted with a longer barrel and a drum magazine. This tag also applies for the Artillery Luger, its full-auto capable variant that has aforementioned features, often fitted with a detachable stock.

The handgun became highly-prized war trophies by Allied soldiers.
