bad fc2 link
A post whose source is a direct link to a FC2 image, rather than to the FC2 post containing the image. These are considered bad links because there's no way to find the original FC2 post from the image link.
If you see this warning while uploading, it means you should paste the link to the FC2 post on the upload page, not the image itself.
Due to FC2's flexible nature, there are times when the valid FC2 post source or equivalent alternative will be flagged as bad source. Unconventional/nonstandard FC2 post URLs get flagged as bad source, while posts sourcing directly from an FC2 gallery, the ever-changing top image on an FC2 blog's front page, or similar, are forced to pick between having a bad link or a bad source, for instance. Posts sourcing from the top image are also forced to feature source mismatch regardless of which source is chosen.
Posts missing this tag can be found using these searches (keep in mind these searches include image links that can be converted to the page containing the image, which don't count for bad link): source:*fc2.com* -bad_fc2_link | source:*fc2web.com* -bad_fc2_link | source:*fc2blog.net* -bad_fc2_link | source:*fc2blog.us* -bad_fc2_link
