apocalypse

A world-ending event, such as those caused by meteor impacts, massive nuclear explosions, etc.

The scale of the threat should be a focus point of the image. Not every picture that simply has fire or destruction in the background should have this tag.

If the world-ending event already happened, see post-apocalypse.
