It says "Get out..." It can't be battled or captured. With the Silph Scope, the player can identify the ghosts as Pokémon.
In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the Ghost-type Tera Jewel resembles the ghost's sprite.
Additionally, it is one of MissingNo.'s forms in Generation I.
