Pinstripes are often associated with old-fashioned men's suits, dress shirts, and baseball uniforms.
Not to be confused with vertical-striped clothes, where the stripes are usually thicker and not as widely separated, or ribbed shirts or ribbed sweaters, where the lines come from the knitting rather than stripes.
