A type of hosiery, usually made of sheer material, that covers the legs from the waist to the toes.

Pantyhose is distinct from thighhighs, which only cover the legs, and leggings, which don't cover the feet. Stirrup or other kinds of toeless legwear that reach the waist but that don't cover the feet also do not count as pantyhose.

For tagging purposes, pantyhose includes most skintight legwear that covers from the waist to the toes, including non-sheer tights.
