A free-to-play third-person shooter developed by Epic Games, notable for spearheading the surge in popularity for battle royale games and featuring collaboration events with other entertainment franchises (Gaming Legends Series) and real-world music artists (Icons Series). Some of the copyrights that have collaborated with the game include (but not limited to): Adventure Time, Arknights, Bleach, Boku no Hero Academia, Cowboy Bebop, DC Comics, Dragon Ball Super, El Chapulin Colorado, Family Guy, Futurama, Godzilla, Honkai, Invincible, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kingdom Hearts, Marvel, Metal Gear, Overwatch, Regular Show, Sonic, Star Wars, Naruto Shippuuden, The Amazing Digital Circus, Spongebob Squarepants, Street Fighter, Vocaloid, Rick and Morty, King of the Hill, Beavis And Butt-Head, One-Punch Man and The Simpsons. It is currently available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, PC, and smartphones.
The game has become the subject of many memes due to its silly dance emotes, primarily minor playerbase, and the absurdity of its collab events.
