    A recurring monster of the Final Fantasy series. Giant, horned, maned, often purple-furred. Usually quadrupedal, but bipedal variants exist.

    It originally appeared in artwork for Final Fantasy I, but debuted as an enemy in Final Fantasy II. It has appeared in every main title since.

    Baby behemoth is the infant form in Final Fantasy XIV.

    Vincent Valentine's Galian Beast form in Final Fantasy VII is a bipedal form of that game's behemoth.
