    No, Yukari's still calling after Kanako. Kanako's "We'll just say that's how it is" implies, "Okay, if that's your excuse, we'll pretend it's true." Yukari protests that it isn't an excuse, even after Kanako leaves the room. (And of course, she could always convey her message via gap instead of talking to an empty room.)
