huh, he gets pretty badass when he grows up...

Well this is him from the upcoming movie. He's not any older here; in fact, given current manga events, the film must be set a few arcs before current One Piece.

When isn't he badass.

Too bad we can't have a badass tag because apparently that would be too opinionated.

What if we broke it down into more specific descriptions of badassery like badass_normal and badass_longcoat, like listed on the tvtropes site?

Maybe when he was a kid...

Needs hot snake chick hugging his awesomeness.

He kind of looks like Raven from Tales of Vesperia here

I wonder how much more badass Luffy is going to be when he grows up. )_)

Hmm, someone appears to be stealing this art.

I sent in a plagiarism note, but unless the complaint is from one of the two involved parties, deviantart won't take action.

Which is stupid. This keanstar person has a holloween pic for 2009. She said it was drawn a few days ago. I found that same picture posted here on danbooru over two years ago.

I'm pretty sure all of keanstar's stuff is stolen.

I sent a message to the original artist telling him his work had been stolen and linking him to it. Hopefully my message made sense in Japanese. I also reported it on DA for what it's worth.

Fuck yeah, go to that Keanstar page now (in Psyguy's post) and it's been "removed by owner".

made it there too lol and it sure hell it removed

She's also left DeviantART altogether and has a string of angry comments directed at her. Feels ambiguous, man.
