    Rondeau M379B 1980 24 Hours of Le Mans Winner

    「ル・マンで好成績を上げる」ことを目標にしてきたデザイナー兼レーサーのジャン・ロンドーが手掛けたのがロンドーM379。
    3台体制で臨んだ1980年はジャン＝ピエール・ジョッソーと組んだ16号車がトップで走りきり、「自らの名を冠した自動車でル・マン24時間レースを制した唯一の人物」となりました。

    Rondeau M379 type B, a French prototype developed and constructed by Jean Rondeau and their third entry at Le Mans, winning the 1980 overall win by a two-lap margin against a Porsche 908/80 and finishing next year right behind a 956/B. It's a neat forgotten machine.
