Artist's commentary

Original

I think it’s very appropriate to say goodbye to 2018 with Noel and June, since Alter Ego made me recover my long lost motivation to draw. Happy New Year! And remember to keep on spreading the yuri in 2019 💝🎉

As per the author commentary, they are Noel and June from her book Alter Ego: https://www.tokyopop.com/book-catalogue-new-titles/alter-ego
(I'll add the tags as soon as I figure out the right format, I've never created copyright or character tags before and I want to double check if they have last names)

Fun fact, this image is included full color in the front of the book.
