Going by Hapu's depiction in Fanon and the blatantly-obvious Lillie/Female!Protagonist ship in this artist's portfolio, they're reading some hot and heavy yuri.

The only question that remains: Is it autobiographical?

How Pokemons actually reproduce.

Its just a picture of a pokemon breeder shrugging.

You can put pretty much anything you want as the cover of the book. They could be reading the complete works of Sappho.

Those breeders are lying through their teeth, I tell you! Yeah, sure, "It's a total mystery" every single time they find an egg, even while encouraging you to bring exactly two pokemon into the breeding pits, and telling you how "well your pokemon get along", and even calling themselves BREEDERS!

Either those breeders are pokemon sex voyeurs, or they're getting in on the action. I don't think my ditto could possibly be THAT horny....

I don't care if you're a professional who arranges it every day AND you watched it, you're still not going to be able to comprehend how Skitty and Wailord can mate.
