It's more to do with how exploitable the sound clip is. This revolves around deliberately mishearing the lyrics for comedic effect (soramimi). The most common use is the mishearing of 'and I' as 'end(er)', as in 'the end'; used for when someone feels it's the end. I've seen it used on nicodouga for things like a death, or an embarrassing/fatal mistake in a videogame. It also works when the lyrics are used correctly like in a gay/yuri scene.
In the admiral's case, it seems like a 'so embarrassing I could die' situation mixed with his true feelings.

Oh ok, I get it now. I didn't even know they had a word for something like that. Thanks! The more you know!
I would love for Watabe and Zuikaku to go running to see what the bloodcurdling scream was about, only to find Kaga and shota-teitoku permanently joined at the lips.
Judging from the text in the first panel, it's highly likely that Watabe's playing Fate/Extra, and in the second panel talking about Fate/Extra CCC, what with the talk of MP, Masters and Hougu (Noble Phantasms). Given that, I hope no one minds if I change the text in the bubble to say Noble Phantasm instead of the more generic noble weapon?
Admiral-san, what'cha gonna do on the next turn?AAAND IIIIIIIIIIIbeepIIAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIAh, I see.boopWWWAAAAAHHHNext one's gonna take a week, I bet. I wonder if I can use this character? I can keep using these skills, an-Take this!I'm just powering through it 'till the end of our breaktime. I'll probably buy the next game once I clock this one, though.
'cause it's fun.Now that I think about it, you've been at this game a good while, haven't you?ahh... *hack*I rented and cleared that earlier!I'll probably take on the opponent's Master by combining a skill and a Noble Phantasm next.Might set up a defense skill.
Sucks up MP, though.
