I've made it a tradition to draw Sol every Halloween. This time, I finished the illustration several days earlier than expected. Once I had an idea, I got excited and started drawing right away.

I'm not the type who can resist posting my work once it's finished. If I leave it sitting around for too long, I might start noticing mistakes and end up spending even more time fixing them, which is something I really don't enjoy.

I don't draw Sol very often because I haven't developed much of her story yet. Believe it or not, she's actually one of the oldest original characters I've ever created, dating all the way back to around 2015. I've continued developing her ever since.

Originally, her name was Cream, and her appearance went through several changes over the years. Eventually, when I created a new world setting, the world of Lulla and her friends, I decided to reuse this character design and rename her Sol.

The name was part of a musical theme involving Lul[La], [Mi]u, and [Fa]eryn, with their names referencing musical notes. I've since abandoned that concept, though.

Since I rarely draw Sol, her appearance might change a little each time. Please forgive me for that! I'll always try to make her as cute and as good-looking as I can with my skills at the time.

About Sol

Sol is Miu's cousin, although they don't see each other very often. Sol's parents divorced, and she had to live with her father, who remarried. She doesn't get along very well with her stepmother, so she's trying to become independent and live on her own while attending university.

On the outside, she seems like a perfectly normal person, but deep down, she's extremely sensitive. She's easily triggered by unpleasant experiences or negative things around her. Even ordinary words or actions can affect her emotionally without the other person realizing it.

She often dresses up as a fox girl, which is her signature look.
