I’ve been watching Holo for less than a year. I mean, I’ve seen some NSFW art of Pekora and Ina before, but atm I knew nothing neither about them specifically, nor about Vtubing as a concept at all. I just assumed they were characters from some anime I hadn’t watched…

But if I had to pinpoint the moment I fell down the rabbit hole, I’d say it was when YouTube’s algorithm started feeding me clips of Gigi and Kronii’s Minecraft shenanigans — the iconic ADHD-OCD duo. Then I watched the whole Gigi's monorail saga, started catching up on all the content she’d made before that… Long story short, I became a Grem.

So, I’ve been cooking this piece for about half a year, ever since I saw a clip from Gigi and Mori’s Alien: Isolation stream (which I think was about a year ago from now), where Gigi offered to clean Mori’s house naked apron style.

The art was finally finished on October 15th, and I scheduled this post for Gigi’s birthday on October 18th. But then came the quest of finding that original clip! Every search for "Gigi and Mori" is now flooded with clips of Calli's doppelgänger playing League, and I was worried that people might not remember the moment if I couldn’t attach the clip to my post.

But it’s honestly insane how life can sometimes line things up so perfectly that it feels scripted.

It reminds me of that story of a Grem who wanted to play LoL with Gigi (but she hasn't played League for almost a year) and he planned to send her plushie into space along with a toy of his League champion to remind her of the game and hired some weather balloon launching company in Germany. But Gigi suddenly announced a LoL stream just three days before the scheduled launch date.

And somehow, Gigi did it again. She interfered with another Grem’s plans — mine this time — by bringing up the idea of cleaning Mori’s house naked apron style again, just a couple of days before my scheduled post.

I swear, sometimes life has better comedic timing than any writer. 💀
