Back then, she's really not that popular compared to Kaltsit. When i see her profile, i knew i just had to draw her. A lot of people love her now. I'm happy for that.

This is going to end with a flash-forward to Warfarin in Endfield, isn't it?

    Fucking knew it.

I know nothing about Endfield, but safe to bet the Old Man finally bit it, right?
At least this is some kind of confirmation that he never agreed with Rattel and kept being upstanding if he left good memories behind.

Endfield is set at least 150-200 years after what events happened in original Arknights, so.

Unless you're from an extremely long-lived race OR have the chance of being recorded in the Originium database and gets resurrected as Reconvener almost every OG arknights character would've died during the in-between time.

    Oh damn.
Well, rest in peace, Old Man. You were good, man. Real good.

Which coincidentally means that Sin (Old Man's adoptive son and the first Doctor in Guin's AU) could potentially come back as a Reconvener.
On the flip side, it wouldn't really be Sin, like with the other Reconveners.

So kinda like Duncan Idaho in Dune at first? Just an echo of him, but not necessarily him?

It's something not unlike the Ship of Theseus. Reconveners has full memory of who they are and what they've done in their previous incarnation(s), but the similarity ends there. They died once, and then brought back into life in another planet, so by definition they are clones of the original person; therefore the ones who we've met and work with just...'hey, despite that I'm still my own person.'

Yeah, then calling them clones is apt. Just, in the most literal sense.

Not exactly, they should had been brought back with their full memories, but the shard of Prime Originium that the Terran brought to Talos-II and let Warfarin access the Assimilated Universe was corrupted by Aether when the Aggeloi attacked 150 years before the start of the story, so the Reconveners only have fragments of their originals' memories, like half-remembered dreams.
That's why they consider themselves as different people unlike Hierda in OG Arknights who is by all intent and purpose fully resurrected.

Sin and Ratel have caught oripathy in the guinverse so they're already recorded in originium, its just a matter of will Hypegryph add fanmade charaters into Enfield.

Honestly I'd love to see a sequel by Guin Guin that's the opposite of his Arknights comic: instead of the old man being around while Sin is MORTIS and Rattel is MIA, the siblings are around and Ald is MIA.
Through the fact that the clones may behave differently could lead to Sin emulating his adoptive dad's goofiness while Rattel takes Kal'Sit's role.

Obviously not? We're talking about Guin doing something with that storyline.

Gilberta yes, the Ch'en in Endfield isn't a Reconvener, but a descendant from Ch'en's clan.

Ch'en is the clan's family name, not their first name. The Chen in Endflied is called Ch'en Qianyu, the one on the OG game is Ch'en Hui-chieh.

We're still not sure if M3 was Kal'tsit's Reconvener, Mon3tr Reconvener or how even an originium-based lifeform can Reconvene.
However, one of Kal'tsit's function was resurrective immortality, so it was possible that M3 was either resurrected Kal'tsit OR a creation of Dokutah and Priest meant to serve Endfield as guide.
