First it was artists like qiandaiyiyu getting spammed with hateful and disgusting anti-yuri replies and QRTs because they drew yuri between genderbent Malfoy and Potter. Now its an artist getting harassed because they drew her which means they're indirectly supporting an author people really don't like? This trend really is bringing out the worst out of both sides.

I agree some people went too far in bothering people who made yuri arts, but still can understand them far better than "freaks"(Using this term to be polite...) who attack artists(Particularly targetting vulnerable ones like yunayuispink at that) for merely drawing the Malfoid. Those are likely same insane people who harassed innocent streamers and tried to put them on lists for merely playing Hogwarts Legacy.
If I say anything about these fucking trash that attack fanartist simply for drawing Malfoid... I might get in trouble. And ofcourse its the same types that attacked and harrased people because of Hogwarts Legacy or anything related to Harry Potter. All I'm saying is that these trash attack only the ones that are too nice, because they know they are screaming into the void when they try to attack fanartist that will ignore their attempts and simply draw more out of spite.
It genuinely disgusts me that we're now entering an age where the general public enjoys ruling over each other. It's no wonder why people are slowly becoming desensitized to corporations quietly ruling over the general public.

Dawg I'm pretty sure the people harassing artists just for drawing characters from certain IPs aren't """the general public"""
She has left a video response on this situation over at YouTube: A Short Talk and she has closed her BlueSky account.
Summary: She only wants to make people happy with her art and hopes to become better at it. She was not aware of the whole context surrounding Harry Potter and the backlash has scared and confused her. She has realized that she cannot please everyone, but she wants to keep drawing the things that she likes. She thanks everyone for supporting her, hopes that we keep liking her art, and to be nice for eachother.

This is a repulsive situation, though I wonder why she was on Bluesky on the first place. Obviously she's not "guilty" of anything, they're the ones who harassed a girl for no fucking reason. But what made her think going to that hellhole was a good idea? Was she expecting the pus-filled, rotting subhuman animals with rabies to NOT behave like pus-filled, rotting subhuman animals with rabies?

Damn... That actually makes the situation worse with the way it must have blindsided her. Can you imagine going to a site expecting it to be just a chill place to share your art, and ending up having to deal with endless waves of 'Lilith (she/they) Puppygirl Lesbian'?
I think the trend is kinda dumb. But attacking an artist just for taking part on it (and said artist didn't even being the one who started it) is just a douchebag move for the sole sake of being a douche. What's worse it's that I'm pretty sure this is happening only because it's related to Harry Potter, just like what happened to the people who showed any interest in Hogwarts Legacy some years ago
Of all artists involved with this trend, they decided to take it out on the adorable pink blob yunayuispink?
I mean it's not much of a surprise they attack people they feel can't defend themselves. Remember all the hatred Hayden Christensen got back when the Phantom Menace was first released, and he was a literal child then

These people went from being oppressed to being the oppressors, and they're starting their own inquisition. At least they're not torturing people, through harassment could definitely count as torture.

I mean, if you wanna bully someone into drawing what YOU want, it's only natural that you'll punch down, and not up, because trying to intimidate, I dunno, Khyle into catering to your own fetish would be a monkey paw wish. It's just miserable that these sad losers have no idea what they're talking about, but they always, always hide their intolerance and bigoted hatred under a shield of oppression. "We're not bullies, really, it's Rowling who is a 'terf' and is bad, so it's only fair that we harass artists, everything we do is ok because Rowling is bad, so everything is okay for us to do!" This is the same kind of reasoning that make people do horrible things and never lose any sleep at night, and the worse part is that I doubt you can reason any of these moron like undyingstar: they decided that Malfoid was Rowling's personal propaganda to promote a show they hate, despite the fact that J.K. has nothing to do with Malfoid beside writing Malfoy, and the show it's talking about, if it respects the books, never ever bring up trans people.
I could go on about what J.K. Rowling really said that angered these people so much (spoiler: it was dumb but not hateful), but I think I'll stop here and do something more productive, like organize my socks by colours and age. I'll just end with a little remark: I saw people get mad about a Five Night At Freddy's book of all things, because apparently a guy gets caught by the animatronics and mutilated into a man/animatronic cyborg, causing him to live in agony. Somehow people decided that this was a dig at trans people and harassed the writer. You can't even write good ol' body horror without one of these morons seeing it as a personal attack. inb4 i get accused of spouting "the most vile shit ever" again despite never calling for anyone's death
