I must be getting super out-of-touch because I had to look up where "foid" came from. It...doesn't seem like the most flattering of origins and it's certainly not a term I'd want to associate myself with. I guess that's my one regret about this trend, because otherwise the artwork it spawned has been great. I wish the name Galfoy had taken off instead.

No, that's an interpretation. And it's an incorrect one since I didn't even imply that I find this one tiresome, nor do I in fact find it tiresome. The "generally" really should have told you that popularity alone does not make me hate things.

Really? Then is there a way to phrase "trends are generally tiresome" so that it doesn't have such a "voice"? If it's something that you again interpret then we can just disregard that voice as an actual part of the matter. To be entirely clear, I was talking about trends like standing split, virgin killer sweater or licking armpit . If disliking that is very reddit, then I guess I don't really mind, because quickly getting tired of uncreative repetitions of (usually lewd) motifs is just not one of the problems I have with reddit.
