自分でするのが面倒なのであのメイドさんに頼んだらやってくれるんじゃない？と気軽に頼んだら本当に来てくれました。
もちろんバイト代のことなど考えてませんでしたが。

It's a pain doing it by myself, so I just casually asked the maid, "Can I rely on you to do it?", and she really did come over.
Not that I intended on paying her for doing the job, of course.
