Artist's commentary
Image description
art of pokemon trainer leaf standing at the ready, pokeball in hand, in front of Some Fucking Thing that used to be a blastoise. it's nasty. leaf is sweating and does not look happy. the background is a window filled with the ocean pattern from pokemon gen 3.
Image description
leaf clings to a weird gross orb covered in vein-like growths. the growths have also burrowed under her skin and can be seen bulging across nearly her entire arm. leaf is crying, but not from pain.
Image description
drawing of leaf listening into the receiver of a 00s-style phone. a speech bubble displays what she's hearing as colorful static. leaf looks mystified, a tear trailing down her cheek.
Image description
drawing of a scene from pokemon pine. leaf is standing next to abby (who, as a reminder, is represented by misty's sprite) in front of the viridian city gym, or whatever that gym is called in this hack. abby is standing among a crop of blue flowers and holding a watering can, smiling as she says "I'm taking care of the Forget-Me-Nots."
so fun to revisit pokemon fire red leaf green. just like how i remember it
Image description
colored sketches of leaf and a normal, happy blastoise. also shows a screenshot of a discord message (from me) with a photo embedded of noelle the blastoise reaching her final goopy form. the text reads "I MADE HER SLUDGE"
