That's the whole point. Nameless male characters are created to serve as blank canvases onto which players can project themselves as the hero.
Caelus is also the main character, and the fact that he has no eyes allows anyone to imagine themselves in his place, since he is an extension of us in the game.

That is exactly what TB is, why do you think we can name him in-game.
