We've gotten more than a few hints that Judgment is smitten with him, after all. The blush when he bought her entire new wardrobe at the start of this, sending him home out of potential danger when she went to look for Justice, her deflection when Tower wondered why he hadn't been judged yet, etc.

This arc started off with them basically on a shopping date. Lucy also seems smitten with him to a degree. Maybe the dude should be called Fallen-Angel-Taker?

I mean, to be fair, he's taking bleeding out from a mortal stab wound a lot worse than Justice and Judgment did earlier.

I like to think Modeus brought Helltaker to Judgement since Judgement is the only one with the sense to save him, or at least not make the situation worse
