Photo-referenced / rotoscope / context:

According to the description:

Russian mobile fire group training goes wrong while using a YakB-12.7 rotary machine gun originally built for Mi-24 helicopters.

The YakB-12.7 has massive angular recoil, and this incident is on whoever decided to use it as a stationary machine gun.

Built for a Mi-24 helicopter mount, it needs proper horizontal fixation if repurposed for ground use. Here, it looks like they simply put it on a static mount and tried to fire it like a regular machine gun.

No one got hurt, but boy did it get close to a very bloody mess.

Too bad nobody died here.

Although I am against everything Russia does, I am still glad that no one died in this video.

And I wish them to suffer for everything they did since 2022.

If I didn't know better, I'd say it was AI.

Of course, this way they can continue to murder Ukrainians or protect their own military from Ukrainian counterattacks. "Glad" none of them died...

Guess there are Armed Farces everywhere.

How does this happen unless youre putting your weight on it?

From what I heard, it was installed incorrectly, with its center in the wrong place.

This illustrates why it spins when fired.
