Oh yes...just yes.
Sweet Merry Christmas!

Oh yes, yes. I was hoping to hear soon from Morino Hon about this. Just a few more days before Comiket.

This is going to be so super, super awesome.

I'm pretty sure I got most of the meanings straight, but translation has always been a job full of surprises. I don't want any misleading translations for this, so please ravage any mistakes I made.

I have not been this excited for a DOUJIN in a long, long time.

Alice vs Hourai
Heaven vs Hell
LET'S ROCK!!

I always did get the impression that hourai would be jealous of Alice's affection for Shanghai, I'm sure some doujins have been made on that subject.

But, I'd love to see Hourai go at Alice because of her affection for Medicine.

Looks like Alice is about to get a taste of her own medicine; have fun with this one, Shinki.

Hourai is pissed at the level to atack Alice? O.O ...

Alice not make so much merits there after who she said ... but being obsesed about the "autonomus doll" thing ... make pissed Hourai and worried Shangai ... but when Medi don't want to know about that ...

this will be a fight for reserve a space ... and more if will Shiki appeared there only for bring in reason Alice (maybe slap her too for her behave a bit) ...

Wow, Alice is being seriously creepy here with her obsession. No wonder Hourai is pissed.

This needs some epic music.

*cries*

Omoito Vier... My tears can't stop flowing...

It needs some epic music... to serve as OST for an epic animated version. I tried imagining this thing as some movie trailer, and I couldn't stop at one try.

As I've always said ever since Yakumo Family, Mori no Hon's doujinshi are doing a sin to the world by not being an animation.

You know, I think this would be a great trailer with the only music being the rain, itself. A clash of lightning here and there, especially when Hourai shouts at Alice.

You're right, though, this would be a great animation. I'd pay to have it, if ZUN would let him sell. At any rate, you said something that caught my attention even more... Yakumo Family doujin? ...where can I read that? (I ask cause I assume it's not here, at least.. I haven't seen anything like that around)

pool #1990, if I recall.
e: yep, it's correct. Enjoy.

Thank you for the link! ...I can't help, but to wonder how I missed it, though.

At any rate, Thanks again!

Alice vs Hourai
Marisa vs Yuuka

My body is not ready.

Somehow in my mind, this piece fits the mood pretty well, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bs6ccAv2bj8

But of course, Tutti Sound would be more appropriate when it comes to epic orchestral accompaniment.

ZUN doesn't mind making and (I believe) trading of fanmade videos, so it should be okay. Unless one asks a professional animating company to make it. It seems ZUN had a nasty experience with how Ufotable tried to claim official status for a crossover, so he doesn't want any animating company to join Touhou fandom for commercial purposes.

So unfortunately we have to do with amateur animations. Now even Kinema Kan declared that it's going to stop making animations, so right now we have no major animating groups in Touhou fandom. Except the one animating the Touhou Musoukakyou series.

This was ...nice~

Is Musoukakyou the anime by Maikaze? I know there is another group making animations..

Yes, the one by Maikaze. The other animating group, are you referring to the Fantasy Kaleidoscope series?

Yeah I checked. Manpuku Jinja, I think, if the translator didn't fail me. Their first one was good, I heard they're making one for Subterranean Animism for C81.

Subterranean Animism for C81? Really? That's nice. If it's going to be like the Perfect cherry Blossom one I can expect to see some Satori. I do hope they give more spotlight to Yamame and Kisume and Yuugi though.

It actually has to be nice because the animators are professionals. Ufotable, actually.

You serious? I thought ZUN doesn't bother to commercialize Touhou.
Or is there any ufotable crew working in Manpuku Jinja?

Manpuku Jinja is Ufotable.

Fantasy Kaleidoscope series is also a derivative work of Touhou anyway, so it's not ZUN commercializing Touhou. That's why Ufotable is actually going against the rules ZUN set up, which I mentioned earlier: that no professional animating company should make a Touhou video for commercial purposes.

キターーーーー(・∀・)ーー！！
Haha, late to the party?

Wh-why?Why are Alice and Hourai fighting each other?

This was epic. Felt like I was watching a trailer. Now it just needs a "Coming Soon" at the end.

The trailer always spoils everything.

I'm still waiting for news of Episode 2 from Maikaze, but back to this... Kinema Kan is preparing to/have stopped making animations Touhou??? What brought this about? They seem to be doing so well, from what I can tell.

I heard they released their final product in C80 and stopped completely.

...and this vid just reminds me, Again, why I don't like getting up while the sun is still in the sky... my heart just broke.

Ahhh, damn. NOW who can I count on to animate Morino's work and make sure it's as good as the doujins.

Can't wait anymore...

I keep throwing money at the screen but nothing happens.

Eh... No one said anything about Hourai's hands turned human?

It's pretty long so I bet it will take a while to scan. But the wait is killing me!

Since it was pretty obvious, with Yuuka commenting on how Hourai was pretty much a human. She even looks completely human-sized in that panel.

got chinese version at voile.gensokyo. got a friend of mine to give a rough hard translation to it, and i must say, this is the full power of Morino. cried twice throughout Vier ;_:
