Weapon request: looks a standard-issue Type 99 Arisaka rifle.

I'd say it looks closer to a Type 38 long rifle due to the short top handguard and front barrel band retainer. Sometimes I wish the Arisaka tag could be split out into its different models and variants, but oh well.

This is a Type 38 rifle. First, it lacks a front upper handguard. Second, its stock has a curved notch near the bolt. The front sight indicates this is an early model Type 38 rifle.
