I have a bit of a problem with my first post. I forgot to crop a translated comic, and it has a huge white uncropped part, am I able to replace the image myself or does a mod or higher do it? It's this one.

Hard-translated posts (especially non-english) are heavily discouraged, so even if it was resolved it's highly unlikely this post would be approved. Either way since this asset hasn't been made into a post and it doesn't break the content guidelines, there's nothing to be done.

There's a lot to say here, but first thing's first, Danbooru generally doesn't accept third-party edits of images which includes hard translations for a large variety of reasons. There are edge cases, but they're edge cases and none apply here. What's normally expected is to post the original, then add translation through the notes function if you have one. But that's primarily for to English translations. Alternate language versions by the artist themselves or by official second-party sources are allowed though.
For the case of non-English translations, Danbooru simply doesn't support them from what I can tell. However, there is a reverse translation tag for posts that are already in English, but that's generally to Japanese for cuteness' sake. If you were to add translation notes to the English version already on the site to Spanish, I'm not sure how allowed it'd be, but I'm not sure anybody would make a point of removing it either. Japanese to non-English isn't allowed, but I can't find much on English to any other language.
Images can be replaced, but that's primarily for several other reasons which you can see in topic #16765. Edit: Had forum instead of topic there.

It was actually uploaded already, but as a .png instead of a .jpg (post #12413239).
Also, I'm not 100% sure if this was hard-translated by a third party since the artist also speaks Spanish. But the overall quality does looks worse than post #11544051.

I forgot to crop a translated comic,
On Danbooru, translated means the comic was translated to English using out Note system (see help:notes). It should only be used after all of the text has been translated to English. Until then, it should be tagged with translation request.

It's allowed as long as you've checked them and are reasonably certain they're actually accurate.
