I would be fine with Artiomon if Pristimon's Perfect/Ultimate form wasn't Bearcatmon. My expectation for Pristimon's Mega form becoming too high thanks to the latter.

Yeah, this reminds me of how disappointed I was upon finding out that Angewomon turned into... Magnadramon. It wasn't until later I found out in Digimon Frontier that Ophanimon existed as an alternative. At least this one's still somewhat humanoid in comparison.
Maybe, someday Pristimon's evolution path will lead to Amaterasumon through a different Ultimate form.

FWIW Ophanimon postdates Magnadramon/Holydramon by 3 years. She literally did not exist in 2000 when they first showed Angewomon evolving.
