He did say in his blog (back in 2015 or so, when he announced that he won't participate in Comiket as an artist anymore) that he had been drawing for big medical institutions in Japan, though!

I got a couple of answers for you, but I have no idea which one is the real one:
1) she likes her current form,
2) she ain't got no faith so whatever mature form she had regressed into that gremlin mode because she's reduced to that relatively powerless curse god form,
3) something about Kanako draining her power?

But yeah, Suwako started as a curse god, then she got worshipped, then Kanako arrived and took over, and Suwako is back to being a curse god. Don't quote me on that.
